Pledge to Vote

 

		Phillip: 11-04-08 is three weeks away. Where will you be? Rock the Vote registered 2.3 million voters this year in the largest online voter registration drive in history. And you were one of them. Now you're registered, it's time to take the next step.  Pledge to vote. Why is this year different?  Because there are 44 million young voters. We are the largest generation in history and 1/5 of the electorate.  We care about jobs, the war, the environment and the cost of our education.  And if we all vote on 11-04-08, we can build enough power as a generation to make real change.   Pledge to vote today.  The pundits are saying, 'Sure they registered, but will they vote?' Of course we will, let's prove them wrong. Join millions of young Americans who are taking a stand at the polls, together. Pledge to vote, then ask 5 of your friends to do the same. The stakes have never been higher.  -- Heather Smith
