Two days ago, I emailed you about a disturbing article in the Washington Post regarding conservatives' newest strategy to limit access to abortions. I just can't get the article and what they are doing out of my head. It is maddening and concerning.
We beat the conservatives on the federal level, and now we must protect our rights state by state.
Their goal is to put as many obstacles as possible in the way of access to abortions. They are and will continue to do everything they can, whether it be a 24-hour waiting period that increases economic, job and emotional stress, requiring that a woman view a sonogram to make her "think again," or even require doctors to tell them unfounded statements such as "having an abortion increases the risks of breast cancer and infertility." The conservatives will not stop their assault on our fundamental rights.
