Wednesday, May 6, 2009-Employ-ABLE Disability Career Fair sponsored by Baltimore County Commission On Disabilities and funded by Maryland Department Of Disabilities will be a part of the World of Possibilities Expo at the Maryland State Fairgrounds!
EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS, Jay Ringgold, Baltimore County E! mergency Management and Homeland Security, Scott Brillman, Baltimore City Mayor's Office of Emergency Management, and JoAnne Knapp, Director of Emergency Preparedness Policy for the Maryland Department of Disabilities, will discuss ways people with disabilities and their families can prepare for natural or man-made disasters or emergencies at the World of Possibilities Expo, May 7, 2009. Brillman, Ringgold and Knapp will also discuss how individuals with disabilities can prepare to evacuate or shelter in place for a minimum of 72 hours without formal emergency management assistance. Additional information for first responders, provider agencies and employers will be available.
