Dear Friends, One thing in politics is for sure: anything can happen in the next 19 days and there will be twists and turns that can change the course of this election. Democratic candidates have to be prepared for whatever comes their way. Let's be honest – last time there was a presidential election we saw firsthand just how good Karl Rove and the right-wingers are at turning out the vote. After last night, it's clear they are more scared and even more desperate this time. How effectively we organize and execute our get out the vote efforts is the difference between losing and winning a congressional race on Election Day. That's why my friends at the DCCC created the Voter Turnout Fund – to provide the urgent resources needed to make sure every voter's voice is heard. You have given before and I wouldn't ask again, but the party with the resources to turn out voters will win. The party that doesn't will lose.
