Dear Friends,
One thing in politics is for sure:
anything can happen in the next 19 days and there will be twists and turns that can change the course of this election.
Democratic candidates have to be prepared for whatever comes their way.
Let's be honest – last time there was a presidential election we saw firsthand just how good Karl Rove and the right-wingers are at turning out the vote. After last night, it's clear they are more scared and even more desperate this time.
How effectively we organize and execute our get out the vote efforts is
the difference between losing and winning a congressional race on Election Day.
That's why my friends at the DCCC created the
Voter Turnout Fund – to provide the urgent resources needed to make sure every voter's voice is heard. You have given before and I wouldn't ask again, but the party with the resources to turn out voters will win.
The party that doesn't will lose. We wouldn't ask again, but a contribution of $35 or $50 can be the difference.
The goal is to get this program up and running in 10 more Battleground Districts by Tuesday.
Contribute $35, $50, or more to the Voter Turnout Fund and your gift will be matched 2-to-1.
Congressional races across the country will build the foundation for an Obama-Biden victory but only if we can
get out the vote. If you give today to the
Voter Turnout Fund, your gift will be matched 2-to-1 by House Democrats.
The DCCC's Voter Turnout Operation will be the most sophisticated ever to be executed in House races:
• 150,000 field operatives making phone calls and knocking on over a million doors
• Legal teams nationwide ensuring that every voice is heard at the ballot box
• Precision Voter ID programs to reach swing voters and strong Democrats who otherwise might not have made it to the polls
By expanding the program to 10 more districts, we can help to ensure victory not only in Congressional races across the country but for Senator Obama.
Please help them now with a gift of $35, $50, or more today.
Let's work like crazy.
