WASHINGTON, DC (ContentDesk) March 4, 2004 --When MallDC.com recently sent it's web site announcement to Senator E. Kennedy's- Online Office, it is excluding District of Columbia on contact, web mail form in the State list. Is this once more a message that residents of the the District of Columbia are not constituents of any voting member in the Senate or the House of Representatives. The District's citizens do not have rights equal to other U.S. citizens.

They are not ruled by anyone they can vote for in Congress. The District of Columbia has Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) a voice in congress without the right to vote, thanks to Republican votes in the House of Representatives. Though DC Citizens can vote for the President, they cannot elect any Senator or voting member of the House of Representatives. The Constitution gives Congress the "exclusive legislative' authority over the District of Columbia, which means that DC is a colony, run by persons elected by members of States outside the District of Columbia, which is not in any of the United States. Tis the season for Politics on the web too.

When will both party's, the Democrats and Republicans give the District of Columbia citizens there full equal legal vote rights in both House's with 3 House members and 2 in the Senate? Gee what is that to mean to some who does a out standing job for you, and well thanks, but your not worth having you rights to have a real vote as a citizen for living in the District of Columbia. So once more in a Presidents year election. A voice and votes that is not counted with the same equal legal standard, as other places in this Country.

Today all the US Sentors at lease do know list DC and others that had not been listed before in there web contacts, but as of today the bill that would have given DC a full vote right in the US House of Rep. did not pass in the US Sente and is still in a legal limbo of sorts, till enough people standup to say you yes to pass the bill and give DC there full vote rightss of self rule of there citzens vote in the House of Rep.... Write your sentors and Presidents and others to tell them to give DC there full Vote right in the US House of Rep. by passing the bill of there people bill of law.
