Twelve years ago, Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter traveled to Los Angeles for the 12th annual Jimmy Carter Work Project. During the weeklong Habitat build, President and Mrs. Carter and volunteers built some 30 houses in the Los Angeles area. Twenty-one of those homes were built in a neighborhood in Watts. |  | Thrivent Builds 500th House
Last week, Habitat for Humanity and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans celebrated a milestone--the 500th house built through the groundbreaking partnership, Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity.
