AHRQ Update: December 17 Webcast on Antiviral Use and Stockpiling

PlanFirst Webcast on Antiviral Use and Stockpiling – December 17, 2:00 p.m. EST

What:

Antiviral drugs will be an important part of a multi-faceted response to an influenza pandemic. They will be used to contain an initial pandemic outbreak, slow the spread of infection and treat those who have pandemic illness.

 

To help states, health care organizations, first-responders and employers learn more about antiviral use and stockpiling, the federal government is releasing two critical guidances:  Guidance on Antiviral Drug Use During an Influenza Pandemic, and Considerations for Antiviral Drug Stockpiling by Employers In Preparation for an Influenza Pandemic.
