Either our representatives are with us, or the terrorists. Will they abolish corporate personhood? #usdor Either our representatives are for us, or against us. Only citizens should be allowed to make campaign contributions. US Day of Rage's mission is to restore free and fair representation to citizens. Why? Because, free and fair elections remedy the myriad ills and abuses of a corrupt and illegitimate government, which preys on the resources and spirits of citizens.
The Framers created a method for escaping from captured government—an Article V Constitutional Convention. This method bypasses a corrupt legislature, executive, and judicial branch. If 34 states pass resolutions calling for convention all sides have the opportunity to argue for changes they believe will restore democracy. Any amendment proposed must then be ratified by 38 states to become law.
•We demand reform of campaign finance laws so that only citizens can make campaign contributions, and that those contributions be capped at fair and equitable amunt that enfranchises all citizens.
•We demand that Citizens United versus FEC which deems corporations to be people when it come to political contributions be overturned. •We demand that corporate personhood be abolished. Before we launch a coordinated strategy to demand an Article V constitutional convention from our state legislatures... ...help us try our federal representatives in the public square.
