| There are so many events happening between now and the end of the year, but I wanted to let you know about a new conference that you can't miss. Called the Social Media Marketing Summit, the conference is a two-day event being held October 1-2, 2008 at Moscone-West in San Francisco. The show, which is being put on by mThink (founded by the owners of Montgomery Research and Revenue magazine) will teach marketers to better engage with customers, measure results and drive growth. The Social Media Marketing Summit is specifically programmed for marketing professionals and brings together visionaries and marketing industry leaders to examine the serious marketing opportunities of social media. It's designed to give marketers practical and hands-on information. Attendees will learn how to drive growth in a variety of ways including increasing customer engagement, effectively integrating social media into existing marketing campaigns, leveraging mobile devices and new media such as video and in-game advertising, and more.
