Did you hear that Dick Cheney was snubbed by the Republicans and not invited to speak at the Republican Convention?
I guess their Oil-Man-in-Chief wasn't invited to celebrate the Republicans' dismal record on record high gas prices, and the failing economy in front of an audience of tens of thousands. Snubbing Dick Cheney won't change a thing. They can try to hide from their record, but they won't be able to run from it.
This is our time. We can make our message heard and take advantage of the unprecedented electoral map we have in front of us but only if we act now.

Across the nation, we can remove the Republican roadblocks in Congress, who next year will take pleasure in road blocking Barack Obama and our agenda to turn the page on eight years of failed Bush policies. We call these opportunities the Red-to-Blue Program and today the DCCC just announced its unprecedented 45th candidate. These are impressive Democrats, campaigning hard and making districts in Republican territory competitive. Red to Blue's success will mean defeat for the Republicans in Congress who rubberstamped George Bush's policies for eight long years.
When Barack Obama steps into the White House, we can't afford to have these Republicans still in Congress blocking a new page in America with partisan politics.
