Great events in DC and trip to NY!!

We have two important events to share with you!

 

1- The first one, Fr. Dieter Haas, our spiritual advisor in DC, is coming from Milwaukee to Washington. He will be here from this coming Friday, 8 May, through Tuesday, 12 May.

 

The main meeting will be a reatreat at the Catholic Inforamtion Center (CIC, this coming Saturday 9 May, from 9:00 am to 2 pm

THE WORLD BANK GROUP/IMF STAFF CATHOLIC ASSOCIATION, IN COLLABORATION WITH THE
- ORGANIZATION OF AMERICAN STATES,
- INTER-AMERICAN DEVELOPMENT BANK,
- PAN AMERICAN HEALTH ORGANIZATION,
- and the SCHOENSTATT MOVEMENT WILL HOST A RETREAT AT THE CATHOLIC INFORMATION CENTER (CIC), 1501 K STREET, N.W., WASHINGTON, D.C.  20005       ON SATURDAY, MAY 9 - FROM 9:00 A.M. TO 2:00 P.M.   Please SEE FLYER ATTACHED.

 YOU CAN BRING YOUR LUNCH!  EASY ACCESS TO COSI RESTAURANT.  COFFEE AND TEA WILL BE PROVIDED!  CIC'S METRO STOP IS MCPHERSON SQUARE (ORANGE AND BLUE LINES). FREE STREET PARKING IS AVAILABLE AROUND THE AREA.  METER WILL NOT APPLY ON SATURDAY. THERE IS ALSO PAID PARKING FOR A MINIMAL COST.PROGRAM WILL BE DISTRIBUTED ON RETREAT DAY.

2- Trip to the Schoenstatt Shrine

in New York    Sunday, 31 May 2008

 

We hope you can make it!!

Departure from DC by bus will be at 6:00 a.m. SHARP! from the Schoenstatt Place: at

3539 14^th. St. NW, Washington, DC 20010, At the corner of Perry Place   Please arrive by 5:30 a.m.! 

Look for the bus ½ block away from Schoenstatt Place.

We will pick up passengers in Wheaton, at 6:15 a.m. from Dunkin Donuts, Georgia Ave, next to the Wheaton Metro Station. Please arrive by 5:45 a.m.!!  Don't park at Dunkin Donuts.

Unfortunately, we can't wait for anyone who is later than 6:00 a.m. in D.C. or 6:15 a.m. in Wheaton. 

Each one chooses at which place they would like to be picked up. It can be indicated at the time of making the reservation.

 

Parking:

There is parking at each place of departure, but it is very important to arrive by 5:30 in D.C. and by 5:45 in Wheaton to find place to park and meet the bus in time.

Returning: We will depart from the Shrine at around 5:30 pm to return to Washington approximately at 10 p.m., at both departure places.

Pilgrimage to NY of Washington, DC, May 2006. We were 2 years younger! :-)

 

Cost: $45 per person. Please bring your lunch.

 

We can only reserve bus sitting for those who pay in advance.   Whole refunds will be issued until Sunday 24 May. No refunds after that day.
