Yesterday, I wrote to you about making your voice heard for a clean energy future. Today, I need you to take action again. We just found out that the Senate is going to be voting on the budget in the next 24 hours. In order to get any of the priorities we care about passed we need the resources (aka budget) to do it.
This is important.
Every single issue you care about - green jobs and renewable energy, health care reform and Pell Grants, infrastructure and transit - is tied up in the budget fight happening in Congress right now.
And we need you. We need you because your Senator, Kent Conrad, is indicating he might not support the budget. That's not okay.
Will you send an email to Senator Conrad?
We put these Senators into office to fight for our priorities, turn the page on the failed policies of the past, and bring about the change we need. Bottom line: we aren't going to get any of it done unless this budget passes.
