Before the health care debate is in full swing, you have one last chance to deliver a clear message to your member of Congress: we're counting on you to help pass health reform this year. That's why we're asking Divided We Fail members across the country to call their members of Congress TODAY. Dial 1-800-928-8626 to connect to your representative's local office. It won't take more than a few minutes. Here's what you can expect: A staff member from your representative's office will answer your call and ask for your name and city of residence or ZIP code. You will be asked to leave a message to pass on to the member of Congress. Here are some key points for you to consider: In this struggling economy, the need to ensure every American has access to affordable health care has never been so important. Health care reform is critical to the long-term financial security of all Americans and to the competitiveness of American businesses struggling to compete in the global marketplace. And rising job losses are threatening the health care benefits for many Americans. The cost of doing nothing is unacceptably high. Now is the time Congress must act to make comprehensive health care reform.
