Running Out of Rich People?

Dear Supporters,
Help stop Michele Bachmann and the GOP's lies. Contribute Now!

Just when you think we finally heard the single most outrageous Republican excuse for trying to obstruct President Obama's agenda for change, something like this comes along.

Republican Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, a national GOP figure, actually said that one of her excuses for 'just saying no' to President Obama's economic recovery bill was because "we're running out of rich people in this country." Huh?

This one is too outrageous to ignore. My friends at the DCCC have set a goal of raising $50,000 by Midnight on Wednesday to show Bachmann and the GOP that they should worry less about America running out of rich people and more about the power of grassroots Democrats like you to keep them in the minority for years to come.

Check out the video of Michele "We're Running Out of Rich People" Bachmann's latest crazy rant and contribute to our Rapid Response campaign.

Crazy Michele didn't even stop there. She went on to claim that:

President Obama's recovery package includes a "national rationing board" to make health care decisions for you (a lie), billions of dollars for the community organizing group ACORN (another lie), and...are you ready for this one...$1,430 for every man, woman, child on earth (the biggest lie of all, or possibly a broken calculator).

Eight years of Bush-Cheney polices are now sending middle class families to the poorhouse by the millions. Yet, these Republican bozos have the nerve to still be the party of no when it comes to fixing the economic mess their policies caused - and then come up with these outrageous lies and sorry excuses for their obstructionist tactics.

We've seen what happens when we let these outrageous Republican lies go answered. We won't let it happen again.

Please contribute by midnight on Wednesday to show Michele Bachmann and her other GOP obstructionist friends that their biggest worry this year is you.
