The deadline is set, will Congress meet it?

Divided We Fail.org--It's time for Health Care and Financial Security for all

President Obama's health care summit kicked off the effort to achieve reform this year.

But we need Congress to start now if we're going to meet that deadline.

Tell Congress to start working on health reform now.

Dear Phillip,

Last week, President Obama set a very clear deadline for comprehensive health care reform: "by the end of this year."

But right now decisions being made by Congress will determine if we meet that deadline.

Phillip, we need you now more than ever to ensure all Americans have access to affordable quality care.

Tell your members of Congress we can't afford to wait any longer for meaningful reform.

Nearly two-thirds of Congress have expressed support of Divided We Fail and our request to work across party lines to pass health care reform. Now is the time that we must hold them to their word.

They need to hear from you that the time is now.

The time is now for the millions of laid-off workers losing their health coverage. The time is now for the businesses struggling to afford escalating insurance premiums and are considering closing shop. The time is now for the families who have to choose between seeing a doctor and making a mortgage payment.

Contact your members of Congress today and ask them to work on health reform now.

After you send your message, please forward this email along to your friends and family. With more than 1.6 million Divided We Fail members calling on Washington to work together to achieve meaningful health care reform, we can make sure Congress meets the deadline.

Sincerely,
The Divided We Fail Team
