We recently told you about the comments of conservative Colorado Sens. Dave Schultheis (R-Colorado Springs) and Scott Renfroe (R-Greeley), regarding the hope that babies get AIDS to make examples of their mothers and that gay people should be "put to death", as quoted in The Rocky Mountain News and on floor of the state Senate, respectively.
Our appeal to you was to help us rid Colorado of hate-filled conservatives. We need your help to make sure they go the way of the dodo bird. Schultheis, Renfroe and other conservatives to recruit progressive candidates to challenge them and their backwards ideas.
