The DC Voting Rights Act is stalled in the House of Representatives - DC Vote needs your help TODAY! Tell Congress to Reject Harmful Amendments to the DC House Voting Rights Act (H.R.157) As you probably know, the House leadership postponed consideration of the DC House Voting Rights Act (H.R.157). Pro-gun lobbyists and their supporters on the Hill are attempting to amend the bill with language that repeals DC's gun laws. A similar gun amendment was passed in the Senate last week.
