 |  | Dear Phillip,  Our economy is in the dumps. We all know someone who's lost a job, can't pay for school, doesn't have health insurance or we are that person. The list goes on, and it's scary. Now Congress and our new President are taking action and they need your help. Tell your Senator to vote for a strong economic recovery package that keeps young people's concerns front and center! On Jan. 28th, the House of Representatives passed a strong jobs and economic recovery bill that contains real help for young Americans, our families, and our friends. From health insurance help and job training to college aid and renewable energy investments, the bill tackles big problems with pragmatic solutions, and is right on track with what you've told us you want action on. Yesterday, the Senate began to debate its own version of the bill and there's talk of stripping some of the best pieces of the package, including aid for college tuition! Not OK. Take action now to tell your Senator to keep your interests in mind. Rock the Vote members nationwide are mobilizing to support our Senators in passing the strongest bill possible, and ensure the needs of young American workers and students are addressed.
