Hey RTV friends in the DC area...
We wanted to give you a quick heads up. Rock the Vote is celebrating the incredible engagement and turnout of young people in the 2008 elections with a concert during the Inauguration festivities. We will be joined by the Beastie Boys, Sheryl Crow and others who were an integral part of our 2008 election efforts.
Tickets will go FAST and they go on sale tomorrow (Saturday, 1/10) at 10 AM.

Rock The Vote Presents the "Hey, America Feels Kinda' Cool Again" Inaugural Celebration

Monday, January 19 at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC
Last fall, the Beastie Boys and Sheryl Crow lent their voices to Rock the Vote and toured the country with our Road Trip...promoting voter engagement. On Monday, January 10th they will come together again to celebrate our success. Both will play full sets at a very special all ages Inaugural Gala presented by Rock The Vote. Citizen Cope and Justin Jones will round out the bill.
The all ages show will take place Monday, January 19 at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC. Doors will be at 8 p.m. and the show will begin at 9 p.m.
Tickets will be on sale 10 a.m. Saturday, January 10 here or 800.955.5566.
All tickets will be will call only. Valid photo ID must be presented to claim tickets.
There is a 4 ticket limit per customer.
Net proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Rock The Vote.
