Disability Rights Protection Act Update

The DC Council has announced new Committee assignments for the new Council session (Period 18; 2009-2010).
Oversight of the Office of Disability Rights has moved from the Committee on Human Services to the Committee on Government Operations and the Environment, Chaired by Mary Cheh (Ward 3) with members David Catania (At Large), Kwame Brown (At Large), Harry Thomas, Jr. (Ward 5), and Tommy Wells (Ward 6).
