 2009 Green Inaugural Ball Live Earth is excited to be the Executive Producer of the 2009 Green Inaugural Ball in Washington, D.C. on Monday January 19th, on the eve of the Inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama. This event will bring together more than 75 environmental, labor, business, civil justice, and community organizations and sponsors to celebrate the strength and diversity of those committed to creating the new clean economy that will repower, rebuild, refuel and restore America. Do you ever take the time a look up at the clouds anymore? They float above us, and we hardly even give them a second thought but clouds have an enormous influence on Earth's energy balance, climate and weather. Live Earth and GLOBE partnered up to introduce a cloud activity that children can do in classrooms or with their families.
