In each presidential election year a lot of effort goes into building a women's coalition for the campaign. That was true in 2004 in W Stands for Women led by Cathy Gillespie and in Women for McCain led by Judy Black and Mica Mosbacher. As a result of the efforts in 2004 we have a solid base of women who are involved in Republican campaigns and activities across the country and who are part of the Republican National Committee's Women's Coalition.
Thank you for your efforts as part of the Women for McCain coalition this year. We hope you will want to continue your involvement by becoming a part of our Women's Coalition. We communicate on a weekly basis with pertinent information about party activities and public policy debates. Monthly we come together on a conference call with one of our members of congress, a national pollster or a party official to share information and get your input. Additionally we maintain a very active webpage which includes the capability of answering questions from coalition members, featuring information about our Republican women officeholders, inviting guest bloggers, etc. We also have a Facebook page for those interested in connecting with other Republican women across the country. We would like to include you in our coalition as we need the continuity that an on-going coalition provides. This coalition can then be expanded and be used effectively in the next state, congressional and presidential elections. We hope you will join us!
