Celebrate DC Inclusive Schools Week, Dec. 1 to 5, 2008

Dear colleagues:

 

You are cordially invited to participate in the District-wide Inclusive Schools Week, December 1 to 5, 2008.  This nationwide program emphasizes the importance of a quality education to all students, including students with disabilities.  Co-sponsors include University Legal Services, The Arc of the District of Columbia, State Advisory Panel for Special Education, DC Special Education Co-operative, Advocates for Justice & Education, DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education, District of Columbia Public Schools, and the DC Office of Disability Rights. 

 

Please share the attached fliers with anyone who may be interested. In particular, community members are invited to participate in the following events:

 

Citywide Celebration and Proclamation

 

Come celebrate the great things happening in inclusive schools!
