Young people helped decide the elections. Now what? Rock the Vote will be working to expand our democracy further and give YOU the tools to take action on the issues you care about. One issue we heard a lot about this year from all of you is poverty-- in the US and around the world. Here is something you can do about it: Click here to ask President-elect Obama to make a clear statement, in his Inaugural address and budget priorities, affirming his commitment to fighting poverty and preventable diseases worldwide with our partner the ONE campaign: http://www.one.org/inauguralrtv/ ONE is a campaign of over 2 million people of all beliefs and every walk of life, here in America and around the world, united as ONE to raise awareness about the issues of global poverty, hunger, and preventable diseases such as malaria and HIV/AIDS. You turned out in record numbers two weeks ago, in hopes of a better future. You changed the face of politics and made our country more democratic. Just think what we can do on the issues that matter.
