Stand Up For Truth. Fight To The Finish Line!

Hello Friend,

Yesterday, the contrast between the campaigns in the Presidential race couldn't have been more obvious. Barack Obama spoke to the nation about the struggles of everyday Americans. He laid out his vision for voters and his plans for America. He showed us what kind of President he would be. And he showed us that he cares.

Meanwhile, the McCain campaign lurched from attack to attack, slander to slander, swerving, insinuating, twisting, and smearing Barack Obama. While Barack Obama promises to cut tax cuts for 95% of Americans, they actually have the nerve to tell the American voters that returning the wealthiest 5% to Clinton-era taxes is "socialism." Please!

The Straight Talk Express is running on empty, more dangerous than ever as it sputters to Election Day. These attacks are all McCain has left. We can't let them succeed. We've fought for years to end the era of Karl Rove politics. If we keep up the pressure, we can finally tell George Bush, Sarah Palin and John McCain, once and for all: you don't get to tell us who the real Americans are!

There are only 5 days left in this amazing election. We can't let up. We don't want to look back and wonder what else we could have done. We want to look back and smile that we got it done! So let's pull out all the stops and not let up for one second until we've won a stronger progressive majority in the US Congress and elected Barack Obama as the next President of the United States.

Thank you,

John Kerry
