You Can Star in DC Vote's Music Video! As you may have read in the Washington Post or Roll Call yesterday, DC Vote has teamed up with local group, D.A.A.S. Wuz Up Entertainment, to produce a music video that sheds some light on DC's denial of democracy. Please join DC Vote staff, local supporters and local musician, Joe L. Da Vessel, for the "Demand the Vote" music video shoot, this Saturday, August 2. Joe L. has created a go-go song exclusively for DC Vote. Click here to hear it. Now we're shooting a music video to accompany it, and we need your help! The video director wants real, everyday DC residents to fill out the crowds in a number of the shots. We need people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in the crowd scenes. You wear what you want - whether it's a t-shirt or a three-piece suit! RSVP today and bring your friends, family and colleagues - join us as we make history with the first-ever Demand the Vote music video! We still need people for each of the following times and locations: - 8:30 AM Location: School Without Walls, 213 G Street NE (nearest Metro: Union Station, Red Line). Doors open and outdoor group shots begin on G Street between 2nd and 3rd Streets, NE

Located southwest of the Capitol, bounded by Independence Avenue, South Capitol Street, C Street S.W., and 1st Street S.W. (nearest Metro: Capitol South, Blue and Orange Lines). Room 2247: Oversight and Government Reform Committee Room, Use 1st Street Entrance. NOTE: for security reasons, you must RSVP in order to particpate in the shot at the Rayburn building.
