A little less conversation, a little more action

Divided We Fail.org--It's time for Health Care and Financial Security for all

Can campaign stump speeches solve America's problems?

We don't think so.

Watch our new ad and tell McCain and Obama you want to hear REAL SOLUTIONS.

Dear Friend,

When it comes to politics in Washington, perhaps we should heed the advice of the King.

The King of Rock 'n Roll, that is -- Elvis Presley -- who in 1968 sang:

"A little less conversation, a little more action please; All this aggravation ain't satisfactioning me"

The truth is campaign stump speeches probably won't deliver affordable health care and long-term financial security to you and your family. Ending partisan gridlock will.

Ask McCain and Obama to tell YOU how they will work across the aisle for real change in America.

A little less conversation and a little more action? That's what Divided We Fail is all about. And if you are like us, you find the prospect of four more years of partisan gridlock quite aggravating.

And while "satisfactioning" isn't a real word, it's probably a good description of what happens when our leaders finally work together to produce actions and answers on these critical issues affecting you and your family.

Every day when you turn on the television or open a newspaper, you will hear grand pronouncements and bold promises from Senators McCain and Obama. But what we want to hear are specifics -- about how the talk turns into solutions and partisan gridlock is overcome by bi-partisan cooperation.

We're airing a new ad, asking Americans to contact Senators McCain and Obama. Will you join them?

Will we be able to save for the future? Will we be able to afford health care and our bills? Tell them: Americans need solutions, not more talk.

After you take action, forward this email to your friends and family!  We're fighting to change the culture of Washington, and we need every voice.

Sincerely,
The Divided We Fail Team
