Hillary Rodham Clinton - will speak about 1:30 p.m. at San Angelo City Auditorium, city and Clinton campaign officials confirmed this afternoon. The visit comes as Texas' presidential primary is in play for the first time in memory, with Clinton facing U.S. Sen. Barack Obama in a tightly fought race for the Democratic nomination. Obama and Clinton will debate Thursday night in Austin, and both are scheduled to make numerous stops throughout the state leading to the March 4 election. San Angelo is one of several stops on Bill Clinton's tour this week of cities in West and South Texas, including scheduled appearances in Midland and San Antonio.
