Gay and Lesbian Activists Alliance of Washington, DC (GLAA)
We are pleased and honored to receive the top rating of all candidates from GLAA for the May 1st Special Election. This rating confirms Michael's commitment to civil rights.

"…GLAA Vice President Richard J. Rosendall explained that the highest rating, +8 (on a scale from -10 to +10), was awarded to Brown in recognition of both his outstanding responses to GLAA's candidate questionnaire and a solid record of support for the District's GLBT community. Brown served for several years on the Board of Directors for the Whitman-Walker Clinic and actively lobbied the leadership of the October 2005 Millions More March to include an openly gay speaker…" [GLAA Press Release]

Walking, Waving and Door-Knocking
We are continuing our aggressive door-to-door campaign with a team of supporters 7 days a week.

With only 29 days until the Special Election on May 1, I need your help now more than ever. Our new field office (6230 Georgia Ave NW 202-885-9312) is serving as base camp for our extensive volunteer, Get-Out-The-Vote and field operations. Each and every volunteer is an invaluable tool in this election and I am asking you to donate a few hours of your time to help us out. Whether it is walking your neighborhood, calling supporters, or waving with me and my team at intersections in the morning, your time and support is the most important thing to me.

As always, your financial support before April 15th is crucial to our continued success, please be as generous as possible in your contribution.

Thank you again for all you have done and I eagerly look forward to victory on May 1st.

Michael A. Brown
