We are so appreciative of the encouraging horn-honks, waves and shouts of support we receive during our morning intersection rallies – your well-wishes have kept us warm during some of these bitterly cold winter mornings.
Every day we are aggressively walking all the neighborhoods in Ward 4 with the goal of knocking on each and every door before May 1st.

CALL FOR VOTER REFERENDUM ON SCHOOL TAKEOVER PLAN
We are considering dramatic changes to the way public education is run in the District of Columbia. We should make every effort to inform the public of the details and allow the District’s parents, grandparents, and other caregivers to approve or reject the plan by voting on it.
Furthermore, the D.C. Council is considering the school takeover bill while residents of Wards 4 and Ward 7 have no representation on the Council, and residents of District II (Wards 3 & 4) have no representative on the School Board.
It is unconscionable that in a city with such limited representation, we would make this decision without the full and adequate representation of all of our citizens.
