SUCCESSFUL FUNDRAISING EFFORT: Our first campaign finance filing deadline was yesterday and we were pleased to announce a very successful fundraising effort during both our Exploratory Committee and Campaign. We have raised nearly $80,000 thus far and that number continues to grow. We officially formed our campaign committee on January 9, 2007. In the three weeks since our formation, we have raised more than $35,000. I want to personally thank each of you who have contributed to this success.
