- Join DC Vote and the DC City Council on the evening of Monday, June 2, for a Public Oversight Hearing hosted by the Special Committee on Statehood and Self-Determination to examine Pathways to Statehood & Full Self-Determination: Political and Constitutional Considerations. Speakers include current and former members of Congress, including the Honorable Tom Davis, and constitutional law scholars. Click here for more information.
- Help us educate about taxation without representation at Capital Pride 2009, the 34th annual celebration of the LGBT communities in DC. We are looking for volunteers to staff DC Vote's table and talk to people in a fun and relaxed environment. Please choose from the following shifts on Sunday, June 14:
11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
2:00 - 5:00 PM
5:00 - 7:00 PM
