   In September, a minority of Senators blocked the DC Voting Rights Act and we've been busy working ever since to secure the three votes needed to end their filibuster. We've organized a Veteran's Rally and Lobby Day on Capitol Hill, YouTube questions to presidential candidates viewed by thousands, and a DC Vote Tea Party that garnered front-page Washington Post coverage. We couldn't have held these events, and we can't continue our efforts, without your support. Please give a generous donation today. Ultimately, 241 members of Congress and 57 Senators voted in favor of the DC Voting Rights Act in 2007. We are closer to gaining voting representation in Congress than any time in the past thirty years. In fact, the DC Voting Rights Act, which we helped develop and promote, was recently named one of the ten best public policies of 2007. Having come this far, we are not going to give up now. Our movement is revitalized, but this is an important moment. At the end of this historic year, we need our supporters to help turn this year's progress into next year's victory.
